Data
Every score on this site is built from open NFL data. We could not do this without it.
NFL play-by-play and schedule data come from the nflverse project, licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). We changed it: we add up the plays into statistics for each team's offense, defense and special teams, and calculate fantasy scores from them. The nflverse project does not endorse Squads Fantasy or these changes.
- nflverse play-by-play data by the nflverse project (nflfastR and nflverse-data), CC BY 4.0. Every play of every game: the raw material for each unit's weekly numbers. Squads Fantasy adds up these plays into per-unit statistics (for example, an offense's yards, a defense's sacks, a special teams unit's field goals); the scores are our own calculation, not nflverse's.
- nflverse game schedule and results by Lee Sharpe and the nflverse project (nfldata), CC BY 4.0. Kickoff times, byes and final scores, used for lineup locks and to tell when a week is over.
- Sleeper player projections by Sleeper, Free public API (no key); terms at sleeper.com. Projected stats for every player and team defense each week. Squads Fantasy adds up the players that make up each unit (for example a team's passers, runners and receivers for its offense) to project the unit's stats; the resulting numbers are our own calculation, not Sleeper's.

Names, logos and images
NFL team names, logos and helmets are trademarks of the National Football League and its member clubs. They appear on Squads Fantasy only to say which team a unit belongs to. Team logos are loaded from ESPN's image servers for identification. They are not ours and we do not claim any right to them. The picture at the top of the home page was supplied by the site's owner.
